The Saccharomyces cerevisiae real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides detection of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, supporting brewery monitoring of pitching yeast and detection of unwanted wild or carry-over S. cerevisiae contamination. The TaqMan-based assay targets a species-specific genomic region for sensitive detection directly from extracted DNA, helping confirm yeast identity and process hygiene.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of the target sequence.
