Description
The Yersinia ruckeri real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides fast, specific detection of Yersinia ruckeri, the bacterium responsible for enteric redmouth disease (ERM, yersiniosis), a recurrent cause of mortality in farmed rainbow trout and other salmonids. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific region for confident detection directly from extracted nucleic acid, supporting early intervention and carrier screening.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
