Description
The Fusarium species real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides broad detection of the genus Fusarium, a group of fungi that cause wilts, rots and head blight across many crops and produce harmful mycotoxins. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved region of the genus for sensitive detection directly from plant tissue, supporting crop-protection and grain-safety decisions.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of the target sequence.
Key features of the Fusarium species kit
- Real-time qPCR (TaqMan) genus-level detection of Fusarium
- Broad coverage of phytopathogenic, mycotoxigenic species
- Sensitive detection supporting crop and grain monitoring
- Primer/probe mix and positive control template included
- Advanced format adds an internal extraction control and a quantification standard
- Compatible with standard real-time PCR instruments
It is ideally suited to plant-pathology diagnostics, crop monitoring and grain-quality control. Available in Standard (qualitative) and Advanced (quantitative) formats, with detailed set-up and result interpretation described in the included IFU/handbook.
