Description
The Pseudomonas aeruginosa real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an opportunistic, biofilm-forming bacterium and key indicator of water quality in drinking, pool and industrial systems. The TaqMan-based assay targets a species-specific region for sensitive detection directly from extracted DNA, supporting rapid water-safety decisions.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
Key features of the Pseudomonas aeruginosa kit
- Real-time qPCR (TaqMan) detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Species-specific target with high analytical specificity
- Sensitive detection supporting water-quality control
- Primer/probe mix and positive control template included
- Advanced format adds an internal extraction control and a quantification standard
- Compatible with standard real-time PCR instruments
It is ideally suited to drinking-, pool- and industrial-water testing and biofilm monitoring. Available in Standard (qualitative) and Advanced (quantitative) formats, with detailed set-up and result interpretation described in the included IFU/handbook.
