Description
The Clostridium difficile (toxin B) real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of toxin B-producing Clostridioides difficile, complementing toxin A testing for this spore-forming pathogen in water and environmental samples. The TaqMan-based assay targets the toxin B (tcdB) gene for sensitive, specific detection directly from extracted DNA.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
