Description

The Chicken (Gallus gallus) real-time qPCR contamination kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of chicken DNA for cross-contamination monitoring in food production. Confirming the absence of poultry material is important on shared lines and in species-restricted or vegetarian products. The TaqMan-based assay targets a chicken-specific genomic sequence with the sensitivity required to detect trace contamination in processed and heat-treated matrices.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of the target sequence.
