Description

The Campylobacter coli and Campylobacter jejuni real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides combined detection of the two most important Campylobacter species in a single assay, giving an efficient screen for the principal agents of campylobacteriosis in water. The TaqMan-based assay targets conserved regions of both species for sensitive detection directly from extracted DNA.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
