Description

The All Vibrio species real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides broad, genus-level detection of Vibrio in water, giving an inclusive first-line screen for these waterborne bacteria that include several human pathogens. By targeting a conserved genus region, the assay sensitively detects Vibrio directly from extracted DNA before species-specific confirmation.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
