Description
The Aspergillus flavus real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Aspergillus flavus, a mould that spoils crops, nuts and stored commodities and produces carcinogenic aflatoxins, making it a key food- and feed-safety target. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region for sensitive detection directly from extracted nucleic acid.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform.
Key features of the Aspergillus flavus kit
- Real-time qPCR (TaqMan) detection of Aspergillus flavus
- Species-specific target distinguishing it from related aspergilli
- Sensitive detection supporting mycotoxin-risk and storage control
- Primer/probe mix and positive control template included
- Compatible with standard real-time PCR instruments
It is ideally suited to food- and feed-safety testing, grain-storage monitoring and quality control. Available in the Standard format, with detailed set-up and result interpretation described in the included IFU/handbook.
