The Escherichia coli O157:H7 real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of E. coli O157:H7, the most notorious Shiga-toxin-producing serotype and a cause of severe foodborne outbreaks linked to beef, produce and dairy. The TaqMan-based assay targets serotype-specific and virulence markers for sensitive, specific detection directly from extracted nucleic acid.
Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
