Description

The Campylobacter jejuni real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Campylobacter jejuni, the single most common cause of bacterial foodborne gastroenteritis worldwide, predominantly linked to poultry. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region, enabling confident discrimination from C. coli and sensitive detection directly from extracted nucleic acid.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
