The Sheep (Ovis aries) real-time qPCR contamination kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of sheep DNA for cross-contamination monitoring in food production. The TaqMan-based assay targets a sheep-specific genomic sequence with the sensitivity required to detect trace contamination in processed and heat-treated matrices.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform.
