Detecting undeclared equine species is a key element of food-fraud investigation and authenticity verification. The TaqMan-based assay targets a donkey-specific genomic sequence and discriminates donkey from horse, giving robust detection in processed and heat-treated matrices.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of the target sequence.
