Description

The Vibrio cholerae real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Vibrio cholerae, the cause of cholera and a serious foodborne and waterborne pathogen associated with seafood and contaminated water. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region for sensitive detection directly from extracted nucleic acid, supporting food- and water-safety surveillance.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
