Description

The Salmonella enterica real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Salmonella enterica, the species encompassing the great majority of clinically and food-relevant Salmonella serovars. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region for sensitive detection directly from extracted nucleic acid, supporting rapid food-safety testing.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
