Description

The Campylobacter coli real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Campylobacter coli, a leading cause of bacterial gastroenteritis frequently associated with poultry, meat and contaminated water. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region, enabling confident discrimination from C. jejuni and sensitive detection directly from extracted nucleic acid.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
