Description

The Salmonella enterica (invA) real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Salmonella enterica in water by targeting the invA invasion gene, a widely accepted and reliable marker for the genus. This gives a sensitive, specific screen for this important waterborne pathogen directly from extracted DNA.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
