Description

The Campylobacter jejuni real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides specific detection of Campylobacter jejuni in water, the most common Campylobacter species in waterborne and foodborne gastroenteritis. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific region, discriminating C. jejuni from C. coli and giving sensitive detection directly from extracted DNA.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
