The Salmonella species real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides broad detection of the genus Salmonella, one of the most important causes of foodborne illness worldwide. By targeting a conserved genus region, the assay gives a sensitive, inclusive screen across serovars directly from extracted nucleic acid, supporting rapid food-safety decisions.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
