The Listeria monocytogenes real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign delivers fast, sensitive detection of Listeria monocytogenes, the bacterium responsible for listeriosis and a critical hazard in ready-to-eat seafood and chilled fish products owing to its ability to grow at refrigeration temperatures. The TaqMan-based assay targets a conserved, species-specific genomic region, enabling confident detection directly from extracted nucleic acid to support HACCP and environmental monitoring.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
