Description

The Vibrio species real-time qPCR detection kit from Primerdesign provides broad detection of the genus Vibrio, which includes important foodborne and waterborne pathogens linked to seafood. By targeting a conserved genus region, the assay gives a sensitive first-line screen across Vibrio species directly from extracted nucleic acid before species-specific confirmation.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform. The Advanced format additionally includes an internal extraction control to flag inhibition and a copy-number standard curve for absolute quantification of pathogen load.
