The Duck (Anas platyrhynchos) real-time qPCR speciation kit from Primerdesign provides specific identification of duck DNA in meat and processed food products. Reliable identification of poultry species supports food-authenticity verification, label compliance and detection of undeclared admixture in composite products. The TaqMan-based assay targets a duck-specific genomic sequence for robust detection even in processed and heat-treated samples.

Each kit supplies a ready-to-use primer and probe mix together with a positive control template, providing a complete workflow from extracted DNA on any standard real-time PCR platform.
